INASET
Now that you’ve squeezed every bit of efficiency from your IT infrastructure, it’s time to consider a switch to the benefits of a converged network (VoIP) and the latest IP productivity tools from NEC America, Inc. (NEC). Ushering in a new era of desktop communications, the INASET® consolidates different types of applications, services, and voice communication via one intuitive user interface.
As a member of the Dterm® IP family, the INASET product line provides a full set of features one would expect from an enterprise terminal: call forwarding, transferring, redialing, speed dialing, conference calling, full duplex hands-free mode and voice mail access. But the true value of the INASET comes to life through the combination of telephony services and real business applications delivered to the desktop, an integration that is not possible with regular TDM or IP terminals. Among the high value business applications created by NEC for the INASET are: OpenWorX® directory functionality, call log history for both incoming and outgoing calls, location status and message reader. NEC also makes available an SDK (Software Development Kit), which allows 3rd party developers the tools necessary to code their own telephony service for the INASET product line.
The NEC INASET product line is positioned for the full range of IP terminal deployment areas from the low cost information Kiosk areas to the high-end executive.
