IP TRUNK CARDS

Convergence
The IP Trunk Solution converts voice signals into IP packets, and transmits them through the same data communications line as the IP data network (Intranet). No longer is there a need to lay cables specifically for the phone or data. One network cable is able to support both voice and data.
Multiple Platforms
The IP Trunk Solution (IP trunks) is offered on the NEAX® 2400 IPX and NEAX 2000 IPS platforms. Even the older models of NEC PBXs such as the NEAX 2400 ICS and NEAX 2000 IVS can migrate to support the IP trunks. No one is left behind.
Multitude of Algorithms
NEC offers three encoding/decoding levels with the IP Trunk Solution.. These encoding/decoding algorithms are G.729A (8Kbps compressed voice payload), G.711 (64Kbps voice payload), and G.723.1 (5.3Kbps and 6.3Kbps compressed voice payload).
